Description
Deutsch: Südsüdostansicht der Pettenfirsthütte in der oberösterreichischen Gemeinde Zell am Pettenfirst und direkt an der Gemeindegrenze zu Ottnang am Hausruck.
Die Hütte befindet sich auf dem Höhenkamm des 712 m hohen Pettenfirsts, inmitten des Hausruckwaldes in den oberösterreichischen Voralpen und zwischen den Orten Thomasroith sowie Zell am Pettenfirst. Sie wurde nach einem Beschluss vom 10. Februar 1948 der Naturfreunde Thomasroith noch im gleichen Jahr mit finanzieller und materieller Unterstützung der WTK (Wolfsegg-Traunthaler Kohlenwerks AG) erbaut und ist seither mehrfach erweitert worden.
