Description
Español: Zaragoza - Mercado Central - Placa dedicada a Juan de Lanuza en el lugar de su ejecución: «1591 - 1991. In memoriam Jvan de Lanvza V. Por defender los fueros y observancias. Por reclamar las libertades y derechos. Por enfrentarse con la inquisición. Por estar con el pueblo de Aragón a los gritos de contrafuero y viva libertad. Por oponerse a la invasión del Reino Aragonés por el ejército extranjero de Felipe II. Por una reacción desaforada... Murió decapitado en esta plaza el día 20 de diciembre de 1591 el Justicia Mayor de Aragón D. Juan de Lanuza el Mozo. Los aragoneses evocan su memoria en el IV centenario de aquella trágica jornada y reafirman su tradición de defensores de sus fueros y de las libertades y derechos. 20 de diciembre de 1991»
