Rudolf and David Robert Sprüngli since 1870. The "Werdmühle" (mentioned since the 14th century) stood between the two arms of the Sihl Canal, which flowed into the Limmat, until 1901/1902. Uraniastr. 4 to Werdmühlestr. Untere Werdmühle sawmill built around 1895. This is where the footpath from Paradeplatz to the train station used to run and this is where the Fröschengraben flows into the Sihl Canal.
