Description
English: Wayside cross in Zákolany, Kladno District, the Czech Republic.
Built 1898, sculptor: Karel Hnátek. Restored 2009.
Čeština: Křížek pod Budčí, Zákolany, okres Kladno.
Kříž u cesty na Budeč nechal v roce 1898 postavit František Havlík z Trněného Újezda jako poděkování za záchranu života svého a koňů, když se zlomila oj vozu, na němž sjížděl z Budče do Zákolan. Sochu Krista zhotovil kameník Karel Hnátek z Mělníka a 24. července 1898 kříž vysvětil kovárský děkan Josef Cháb. Pomník je proveden z hořického pískovce. Obnoven v roce 2009, restaurátorské práce provedli Zdeněk Horák a Jiří Remeš z Prahy. Obnovený křížek byl slavnostně odhalen 6. července 2009 současně s Husovým pomníkem nad sokolským hřištěm.
