Description
English: Hanover, NH--March 1969, touring the North America Wall ascent, with Dennis Hennek. The night before, they'd given their slide show for the Harvard Mountaineering Club and asked whether anyone was driving to Dartmouth the next day. I raised my hand and said yes. Then I went back to my apartment, called my boss to say I needed a day off, and, after midnight, washed my VW bug, so that he and Dennis would ride in a clean car.
