Description
English: Enligt Skellefteå museum: "Vykort. 1) Det röda huset t v om kanalen är Port Arthur. Det är den bolagsägda tvättstugan där de anställda vid fabriken fick tvätta sina kläder m m. Även de förnäma använde tvättstugan, en speciell tvätterska tog hand om deras tvätt. Ev har stugan senare använts som förvaringsplats för en allmän brandspruta. 2) Ytterstfors skola 3) Lärarbostad 4) Bostadshus på s k Platsen uppfört av bolaget och inrymde bostäder åt fyra arbetarfamiljer 5) I detta hus bodde bl a förman Karl Petterssons föräldrar Emma och Johan Pettersson. Johan arbetade i verkstan v Ytterstforsbolaget 6) Byske badhus (rent vatten togs in från kanalen och släppte ut i älven). Huset revs 1924 av Karl Pettersson och hans bror.Tornet togs tillvara och sattes i s k Hägnen vid norra hängbrons norra fäste".
