Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ystrad Fflur Church of St Mary, Ceredigion, near to Pontrhydfendigaid, Ceredigion/Sir Ceredigion, Great Britain. It has been suggested, though not proved, that this attractive little church was partly built from stone plundered from the decaying abbey close by. Of course, its name of Ystrad Fflur is slightly misleading, in that Ystrad Fflur is actually a neighbouring valley, about two miles south-west, where the Cistercian monks originally made their settlement before moving here in the late 12th century.
