Title
English: Young men's Christian Association (YMCA) Building, probably 1890
Description
English:

Photograph of drawing On verso of image: Y.M.C.A. building (not built?). E. Fisher, architect

  • Subjects (LCTGM): Young Men's Christian Association (Seattle, Wash.)--Buildings--Architectural drawings; Buildings--Washington (State)--Seattle--Architectural drawings

This building would have been located at 1419 1st Avenue near the future site of Pike Place Market. After the fire the YMCA would drop Fisher's plans in favor of ones by William E. Boone. That building would never be completed above the ground floor and the YMCA would move to their new building on 4th Avenue in 1909.
