The eucalypt box species make highly durable timber. And are generally excellent honey trees.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Growing trees in farm shelterbelts can achieve many financially grounded sustainability outcomes. Stock shade and shelter, non-timber forest products such as honey (we have a hive about 20m from this photo in a more mature shelterbelt), wildlife habitat, riparian zone protection, aesthetics and the potential to harvest timber for onfarm use and commercial sales. We're growing these species as an experiment so we'll see what happens
