| Description |
English: A view of the south side of the 54 metre high Yorkshire Wheel, that was installed at the National Railway Museum in York. It was sited 53°57′35.81″N 1°5′44.42″W / 53.9599472°N 1.0956722°W next to and in line with the southern wall of the museum's Great Hall. Construction started in March 2006 and the wheel operated from 12 April 2006 until 2 November 2008, being dismantled shortly afterwards. The brick buildings are at the fork junction of Leeman Road (far side)and Cedar Lane (near). The museum's entrance is actually up Cedar Lane, away to the left. |
