Summary

[edit]
Description

The former York City and County Bank, Park Row, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was designed by Stephen Ernest Smith (1845–1925) and John Tweedale (1853–1905), and completed in 1892. All exterior stone carving was credited to John Wormald Appleyard.

Showing west elevation, on Park Row. There was originally a planned separate entrance on this side (on the left-hand end) to give access to the ground floor suite of offices, but there is no trace of that entrance now; maybe it was never constructed.
