ヨコヅナサシガメ 幼虫期脱皮直後の姿．

桜古木(春の観察と同一樹木) めくれ上がった北面樹皮下．

At a certain urban park on South-Ward Sagamihara-City Kanagawa-Pref. in Japan.

幼虫期の脱皮時も羽化時同様硬化前は鮮やかな赤色と成る。このとき腹部背面が黒い事より羽化時も羽の下は同様に黒く成っていると思われる。

In the nymphal-moulting she has a bright red body as the same in the final-moulting.

Since the back of the abdomen is black at this time, it seems to be blackened under the wings also in the final-moulting.
