English: Ynys-y-Pandy slate mill from the lane approach The marvellous ruined mill of Ynys-y-Pandy, seen from the SSW. The tramway accesses can be seen entering it from the right. In the distance are the remains of Gorseddau Quarry, whose slate the mill was built to dress. Spectacularly unsuccessful, but spectacular. |
