Summary
[edit]DescriptionYes, it's a bumble bee... (28308262656).jpg | But can anyone help me with what sort? I don't think it's bombus terrestris, because although it's quite large (nearly 2cm long), it hasn't the brown/orange/yellow band near the front of the abdomen and the colouration of the rear of the abdomen seems more strongly banded than b.t. would be, with yellow bits. The yellow dot next to the orange band on the thorax is one of a triangle of three. In our garden 12 miles west of Cambridge, UK. Sorry for the not-great photo, [s]he wouldn't sit still... |
