4 I of a rough, rustic order, in a sense, yet again there is nothinguncouth, boorish, or vulgar about it. It is an artistic creationfrom foundation to the peak of the roof; steam heated, electriclighted, with Arts and Crafts furniture, and the rooms andfurnishings are regular gems of comfort and thoroughly homelike. The log element has been handled in a remarkably effectivemanner. Natural logs and limb crooks have been utilized instairways and balconies and wherever possible. Old FaithfulGeyser is near the hotel; opposite and but a trifle farther away arethe Giantess, Lion, Bee Hive, Lioness and Cubs; down the littlevalley the Castle is in plain view, and the eruptions of the Grandand Economic, and, to some extent, those of the Giant and River-side, can be seen from its corridors, rooms and verandas.
