Summary

[edit]
Description

Telephoto image of a black bear.

This bear is up on its hind legs. He appears to be waving, but, of course, he isn't. This type of image was common in the 1950’s in Yellowstone when animals wandered up to cars to be fed. In the present it is extremely rare to see a bear up on their hind legs. This usually only occurs if an animal needs a better view, which this one did.
