Why do the leaves turn yellow in autumn?

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Chlorophyll is necessary for all plants, because thanks to it, the process of photosynthesis is carried out. The latter is necessary for plants to grow and "feed". At the end of summer, when the sunlight becomes less and less, chlorophyll can no longer be preserved in the same amount, it remains very little, and it is replaced by other pigments of the "reserve" — the so-called carotenoids, responsible for the yellow and red color of the leaves.
