| Description |
English: Yellowave Beach Sports Centre Built in 2005-06 on the site of the former Peter Pans Adventure Playground. The venue can hold up to 6 beach volleyball, two 5-a-side beach football or rugby pictures and one full size international beach football pitch with the additional bonus of floodlights meaning it is open from 10am-10pm during most of the year. The facility has a small sand climbing block and a cafe as well as the means to add temporary seating for any international events held there. So far it has proved very popular despite the early setback of an arson attack on the cafe with volleyball and football leagues being run and the centre open to any who wish to play the sport. You could be forgiven looking at this image to think it was taken in summer not in early January. |
