Description

Just a single fly, no sign of a swarm, a few mm long, resting on a Euonymus bush in the garden. The adults feed on nectar and the like, the babies eat root aphids. ID confirmed by John and/or Barbara Ismay - see www.dipteristsforum.org.uk/t3689-Chloropidae-please.html Details for the record:
