Description
English: Parts of the Yauza 209-1 reel-to-reel tape recorder. Old electrolytic capacitor. Contrary to expectation, the mounting bracket only wraps around half of the cylinder. It cannot hold the capacitor by itself. Instead, it was glued to the paper wrapped around the capacitor. Miraculously, the 40-year-old Soviet gunk still holds.
Русский: Старые электролитические конденсаторы магнитофона Яуза-209-1 (на фото - главный С1 фильтра питания). Скоба не охватывает цилиндр целиком и не способна сама удержать его. Всё держится на клее, которым скоба приклеена к бумаге, обёрнутой вокруг конденсатора. И по прошествии сорока лет клей держится "как с завода".
