Description

151021-DEUA-XXXXB-004 Cagliari, Sardinia -- Guided by a tug, SNMG2 ship Turkish frigate YILDIRIM is leaving the port of Cagliari. Together with four further ships in a combined task group, SNMG2 will participate in NATO's Exercise TRIDENT JUNCTURE 2015 for the upcoming weeks (October 21, 2015). The units of Standing NATO Maritime Group 2 (SNMG2) are sailing in the Mediterranean Sea, inter alia, participating in multinational exercises and Operation ACTIVE ENDEAVOUR, showing presence of the Alliance and conducting routine port visits in NATO and Non-NATO countries.
