| Description | While Prony the python is on the ground, his tiny cage is shared by other residents. This Brahminy kite at the far end of the Prony enclosure was looking sad and positively stressed. Pity to see a magnificent raptor like a Brahminy kite in such a pitiful state. Shame on the authorities to allow this so called zoo to even remain open and to exhibit its pitiful residents to people and charging admission for it. I had read on another website about the so called keepers even stressing the animals by banging on their cage to make them move or react for the benefit of the oggnling crowds. This itself should be sole reason to shut the palce down. (Bohol- Tagbilaran, Philippines, May 2013) |
