Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Western Xia seal, with the six Tangut characters in seal script on the seal face: "𗼨𗆟𘍴𗩙𗆻𘞪" = Chinese 嵬名禮部專印 meaning "special seal of the Department of Rites of the Weiming clan". Identical to Luo Fuyi, Xixia Guanyin Huikao 西夏官印彙考 (Ningxia Renmin Chubanshe, 1982) #1, which is held by Tianjian Museum, so this is either a loan or a replica (the museum label gives no details).
