Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Western Xia seal, with the four Tangut characters in seal script on the seal face: "𗍅𘏿𗆻𘞪" = Chinese 工監專印 meaning "special seal of the Supervisor of Works". Same inscription as Luo Fuyi, Xixia Guanyin Huikao 西夏官印彙考 (Ningxia Renmin Chubanshe, 1982) #5 (held at the Palace Museum) and #6 (held at Shanghai Museum), and appears to be identical to #6, in which case this is either a loan or a replica (the museum label gives no details).
