Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Bronze round paizi (pass) of the Western Xia, inscribed with three Tangut characters, which should be the Tangut transcription of a Chinese name (the holder's name). The top character is "𘑲" [1030 (tśjow)], a transcription character for the Chinese family name Zhang 張. On display at the Xixia Museum in Yinchuan. Probably a copy of an original held at Northwest Normal University (西北師範大學) in Lanzhou, Gansu (National Catalogue No. G82-001).
