Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Western Xia "Commander" seal, with the two Tangut characters "𗥦𗖅" (Chinese shǒu lǐng 首領 "commander") in seal script on the seal face. Seal is displayed under the imprint of Seal 14. According to the museum information card this seal is dated 19th year of the Tiansheng era (天盛十九年) [1167], but as the seal does not correspond to the seal imprint displayed above it, this date may may actually relate to the other seal.
