Description
English: A life-size Hollow ceramic statue of Xipe Totec, a late Mesoamerican god. This statue was found in a cave at Coatlinchan near Texcoco in the early 1900s. This statute, like many renditions of Xipe Totec, wears a flayed skin from a sacrificial victim. Height: 151 cm (5 ft).
