Summary

[edit]
Description

great specimen at Redpath Museum, McGill University, Montreal, Canada

One of many topshelf seashells in an extensive collection donated by Abe Levine, an ordinary person struck by the 'incurable disease of chonchologycitis'. I'm not, yet I found myself circling round a dozen cases and thousands of his shells on display.
