Description

Xaman-Ha, or "waters of the north," is archaeology site in Playa del Carmen.It was a rest stop of sorts for Mayan travelers making their way from the great cities of the Mayan world to the island of Cozumel.

שאמאן-הַא הם שמם של של שרידים ארכאולוגים הנמצאים על חוף הים הקריבי בחצי האי יוקטן. משמעות השם בשפת המאיה הוא מים של הצפון. במקום שוכנת היום העיר פְּלַאיה דֶל כַּרְמֶן.
