English: XL-472 Gannet A Fairey Gannet from the early 60's.
Originally designed for anti-submarine warfare, this is an AEW.3 version built for Airborne Early Warning, hence the huge RADAR housing under the fuselage. The plane also featured counter-rotating props (the front set seems to have been removed) |
