Description
Deutsch: Umbau der Straßenbahngleisanlagen vor dem Bahnhof Leipzig Hbf. Hauptgrund ist der Bau der Tunneldecken für den Stadttunnel, die nötige Schaffung von Baufreiheit wurde für die Umgestaltung der Bahnsteiganlagen genutzt. Zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt sind die mittleren Gleise noch in Betrieb, die äußeren werden neu gebaut. Aus dem bisherigen Richtungs- wird ein Linienbetrieb mit zwei zweigleisigen Strecken nebeneinander und einem mittleren Insel- sowie zwei Außenbahnsteigen. Der Leipziger Straßenbahnbetrieb bleibt ein reiner Einrichtuingsbetrieb. Vom Bahnsteigostende Richtung Westen. Die Rohre rechts gehören zum neuen, durchgehenden Bahnsteigdach auf der Außenseite. Gesamtinbetriebnahme am 23. Dezember 2005, bis zur Inbetriebnahme auch des Stadttunnels dauert es dann noch immer acht Jahre.
