Deutsch: Seit dem Zerfall von Jugoslawien ist Šid der Serbische Grenzbahnhof an der ehemals jugoslawischen Hauptstrecke nach Vinkovci, Zagreb und Ljubljana. Der gegenüberliegende kroatische Grenzbahnhof ist Tovarnik. Beide waren zu Unionszeiten keine Fernverkehrshalte, doch seit der Trennung finden Grenzkontrollen im Stand statt, außerdem werden die Lokomotiven generell gewechselt. Wie an fast allen Grenzen im ehemaligen Jugoslawien ersetzt eine Balkan-Rb eine baugleiche. Ein Lokomotivdurchlauf wäre technisch problemlos möglich, auch das Personal könnte durchfahren und die älteren Kollegen haben es bis zum Zerfall der Union auch getan, doch nach den Bürgerkriegen ist daran nicht zu denken. Deshalb ist die Fahrt für die kroatische 1142 386 hier in Richtung Osten zu Ende. Der Bahnhof Šid entspricht mit einem Haus- und folgenden Zwischenbahnsteigen altösterreichischen Bauprinzipien. |
