ond line is drawn at right angles to the firstthrough the center of the foreign bodys shadow. With a small pair of dividers step the distance fromthe edge of the indicator-ball to the intersection of thehorizontal and vertical lines that you have just drawn.,Then step this distance off on the diagram chart, makinga dot with a pen, or very sharp, hard pencil, to repre-sent the exact distance. Figs. 6 and 7. On the vertical line that has been drawn through theshadow of the foreign body (right-hand half of Fig. 5)measure the distance of the foreign body above the hori-zontal line and indicate the same on the chart abovethe first dot, as is represented by dot F1 in outlinedrawing Side View. Place another dot on the same horizontal plane atpoint P and draw a line through these two dots, project-ing into the Front View as shown. Since the position of localizer-ball B, as shown on thechart, is the same as when the first plate was made, thelocation of the foreign body must be at point F1 Side
