Description
English: The map shows the area between Charleston, West Virginia, and Wytheville, Virginia, which have been circled. Union cavalry and infantry moved from Charleston to Wytheville in 1863 for a raid on the railroad and lead mine nearby. The raid became known as Toland's Raid.
