Summary

[edit]
Description Taking a guess, it was the last Saturday evening before breaking camp, when these Wyoming soldiers were photographed and pronounced “Champion Goofy Squad” at Camp Guernsey in 1938. Soldiers were on the ground in Guernsey at this time 80 years ago preparing for the first summer camp between the north bank of the Platte River and the south edge of the town, at what is now known as Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center.
