We need a number of good college songs and a glee club to singthem, a Y. M. C. A., and a literary society or two. Our DebatingClub took the place of the latter last year, but this year we had togive it up. Gladly do we see the Prep. Department separated from theUniversity in the new Normal building. We need a Ipee^/p collegepaper that shall be a reflection of college life and activities, and nota monthly short story magazine. We need a liberal prescription of college spirit. President Mericais doing his best to get us all these things, but he must have the hearty,unwavering, enthusiastic, and loyal support of everv individual studentand the whole state, in order to succeed.
