Deutsch: Die 1855 - 1858 erbaute Ev.-reformierte Kirche Ronsdorf entstand nach Plänen von Engelbert Matthey unter Mitwirkung des Kölner Dombaumeisters Ernst Friedrich Zwirner. Die Außenhaut des Rechteckbaus besteht aus sorgfältig behauenen Grauwackequadern, fialenbekrönten Eckpfeilern, doppelten Fensterreihen und halb eingebautem Südturm, der über zwei quadratischen Untergeschossen einen achteckigen Aufsatz mit Schieferpyramide trägt. Der Außenbau wird gegliedert durch flach aufgelegte Lisenen, Rundbogenfriese und Rundbogenfenster mit Maßwerk. Der Innenraum ist als dreischiffige, kreuzgratgewölbte Halle ausgebildet, in deren achtseitige Stützen die dreiseitig umgeführte Empore eingehängt ist. Neben der künstlerischen und geschichtlichen Bedeutung ist das Bauwerk ein wichtiger Bestandteil des alten Ronsdorfer Ortskerns. This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
