Summary

[edit]
Description

The Science Museum storage facility at Wroughton airfield. On the right is British Airways Hawker Siddeley Trident 1E G-AVYE, which was acquired for its engines only, moving (or maybe just the forward fuselage) to Hatfield in 1989 for fire trials. Built in 1968 it had previously served with Channel Airways at Stansted and my old employer Northeast Airlines at Heathrow.
