| Description |
English: Wrong side of the tracks This building was intended to be part of the Victorian building boom designed to take advantage of Leamington Spa's early popularity. But a building industry collapse and general decline, plus being just too near Leamington's old town and the railway, meant that schemes for up-market terraced houses were never completed. Indeed, some of the terraces that were finished were subsequently demolished to make way for the railway station nearby. This much-altered block now stands in isolation and is a pub cum local club in an area that is generally run down. |
