Description

Hanging is a replica of the Wright Military Flyer, "the first 'flying-machine' contracted for by the U.S. Army and included design considerations that were dictated to the builders based on Army needs."

On the ground is a replica (built in the 1930s) of the Bleriot XI, "considered the first practical monoplane, and has the distinction of being the first aircraft to cross the English Channel."
