Description
English: The picture represents my mom weaving a traditional basket in rural area (village called Oniipa) which is at the northern part of Namibia. She engage in this activity as her primary source income. Traditional baskets are used as storage, carry fruits, flours, sands, and serve as plates during meals. The baskets are made in different sizes depending on the intended use.
