Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Worthy Down halt The site of the halt on the Didcot, Newbury, Southampton railway line that served the nearby RAF Worthy Down. It was opened in 1917 and closed in 1962 or 1963. The remains of the down, southbound, platform can be seen to the right and the up, northbound, platform ahead of us. This later became an island platform for the two directions when a passing loop and siding was built to the left, west.
