| Description |
English: World War II quadrant tower. The Solway between Glasson and Burgh by Sands was used as a firing range, by No.9 Operational Training Unit based at RAF Crosby-on-Eden (now Carlisle Airport 74464 ). The bomb drops would be observed from here, and also from Burgh 858406.
