| Description |
English: Work on the railway line - fitting a fishplate. The worker has adjusted the boring/milling machine to the rail so that the holes can be placed with precision and he is about to drill the first of altogether four holes into the rail > 1754305. A sheet of plastic has been spread out underneath the work area to catch the oil used in the process and also the steel filings. The small gap between the sections of rail is deliberate so as to allow for the expansions of the rails. |
