English: Woodside Lodge This was the Lodge House to the Mansion House known as Woodside which was the home of Jonathan Akroyd, father of 'Colonel' Edward Akroyd the founder of Ackroydon and builder of All Souls Church. The Lodge was originally sited at entrance gates higher up Haley Hill, but was rebuilt on its present site when the Woodside Estate was built. |
