| Description |
English: Woodland around Stuck Chapel Spout An enclosed area around the burn. Glen Almond had a big glacier and is very deep, leaving a very good selection of truncated spurs and hanging valleys. The glen of the Stuck Chapel Burn was left high above the floor of Glen Almond after the melting and now falls sharply over a waterfall.(Stuck Chapel Spout)
Since enclosure, the seeds from the surviving old birches have had a chance to grow away from the sheep. The waterfall cannot be seen, it is now mostly a crag as the water is led off for hydroelectric generation at a dam above the drop off. |
