English: Rasmus Peter Jensen came to Seattle from Denmark in 1889, the year Washington became a state. He homesteaded in the West Woodland area and worked as a carpenter. He also operated a store near what is now 60th Street and 4th Avenue NW. Typed on verso: Woodland Groc. run by Erasmus [sic] Peter Jensen near 4th N.W. & 60th N.W. ca 1900's. Caption by MOHAI staff.
