Title |
Wooden/bone fish |
||
Description |
English: Bone 'test/trial piece' in the form of a fish. Broadly ovoid in form, with tail-end missing. The object is worked on both sides, and has worked dorsal and lower fin, incised ring-and-dot eye, curved gill line and small curved mouth. It is possible the object was once a handle, for a knife or such-like, but is more likely to be a trial piece. |
