| Description |
English: Woodcotthill Road, south of the Weaver Woodcotthill Road is a track that joins Aston with Wrenbury Heath. Although signed to the north as a ford, the paved road deteriorates into a track and then a footpath (divided from the former road by a hedge; centre) soon after passing the entrance to the sewage treatment works just south of this point. It is not passable by vehicles at the Weaver valley (dip in road in centre & line of trees on right; see 339212), although a footbridge does cross the river. Woodcotthill Farm is just visible on top of the low ridge beyond the river valley. Another private concrete farmtrack (just visible in the distance, right) crosses the river at a second bridge around a hundred metres to the east |
