Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A decorative, hand-carved column at Wat Phranon Chaksi, a Buddhist temple in Singburi, Thailand.
  • The column depicts scenes from Singburi's history, including the province's two most famous buffaloes, Boonlert and Boonlai. Villagers from Bangrajan village in Singburi province rode on the buffaloes’ backs as they fought the Burmese. Bangrajan won that war, and it has been a Singburi legend ever since.
